OUR LOCATION

Close to Marioly Studios and inside of the bay of Parikia, you will find many popular beaches. The closest to our accommodation is of course Livadia Beach. The other two are Martselo and Krios. They are situated opposite to the main port of Parikia. There are two ways to reach them. You can use your own means of transport or take a small boat from the port, which is used as sea taxi. There are regular schedules to and from Martselo and Krios. Both of them feature sunbeds, umbrellas and beach bars. Additionally, west of Martselo, you will find small sandy beaches hidden in small bays. This is an option for total relaxation away from the crowds.

Parikia as it is the capital of Paros, it features the main port. This is where you will arrive and experience your first contact with our island. This beautiful town consists of traditional Cycladic white buildings. Its highlights are the attractions and the old town. In Parikia you will find countless restaurants, taverns, cocktail bars and any kind of shops. The most beautiful alleys are located in the old town and you will definitely walk among its alleys. This is also where you will find Frankish castle and Agios Konstantinos church. If you are a “sunset enthusiast” then Parikia will exceed your expectations. You can admire it practically from every “corner” of the coast. Hoverer, we suggest you enjoy it from Agios Konstantinos or from Agioi Anargyroi monastery.

Our town features probably the most important attractions of the island. Within walking distance from our studios, you will visit Panagia Ekatontapiliani, Frankish castle, ancient cemetery and Agios Konstantinos church. You have probably heard of Panagia Ekatontapiliani. This is one of the oldest churches in Greece, built around 326 A. D. (the first part of it). Its name means “the church with 100 doors” and it is associated with many tales. Its interior and exterior will amaze you. Another interesting sight is the Frankish castle. It was built using marbles from ancient temples of Paros. Therefore, it is interesting to see up close. Agios Konstantinos church, which is situated close to Frankish castle follow similar architecture. It also features amazing view of the bay.
